Department of Pharmacy

The Department of Pharmacy was established in 2011, along with the extension of the curriculum of pharmacy colleges from four to six years in Korea, to cultivate leading clinical pharmacists who will be committed to both local and global pharmaceutical care. For this, the Department provides strong educational programs from basics to field applications and has cutting-edge facilities, such as campus- and hospital-integrated pharmacy practice centers, for students.
The primary goal of the curriculum is to educate students to become competent pharmacists with dedication and commitment to the community. The curriculum encourages students to acquire a broad knowledge based on chemical, biological and clinical aspects of pharmacy. This makes students obtain wide knowledge and find how this apply to various areas in pharmacy through problem-based learning and case studies. The Department also provides outstanding practical training programs connected with the University Hospital and on-the-spot experience studies related to patient care and public health.
As part of our effort to educate our students as world leaders, a variety of research experiences during vacations and experiential opportunities abroad are invigorated.

Department of Pharmaceutics

The department of pharmaceutical sciences was established in 2011 at Keimyung University. Pharmaceutics is an interdisciplinary science concerned with the development of drugs and drug delivery systems. Partnering with Daegu's advanced Medical Research Complex, it is our purpose to advance the area of drug discovery and pharmaceutical sciences.
Our department provides students multi-disciplinary education, research opportunities at the forefront of modern pharmaceutics, and world-class facilities.
